Celebrate and dance to the music! The 2022 holiday season is coming to a close and the world is preparing to welcome in the new year. Thanksgiving and Christmas are perfect holidays to celebrate being together with family and friends.

But New Year’s Eve on the other hand has an entirely different vibe to its meaning. It is meant to be celebrated over a great meal, listening to live music, relaxing with laughter during after-dinner drinks or over the perfect glass of wine.

Add in a bit of upscale, rustic Italian atmosphere and the perfect celebration is waiting for you and yours at Gervasi Vineyard (GV).

Making Those Resolutions and Celebrating Life
One of the many traditions for ringing in any new year includes making resolutions to start the year off right. The staff at GV is waiting anxiously to hear your resolutions and they are sharing some of their own.

Event Operations Manager, Stacey Kunkle is hopeful to grow in her personal and professional life.

“My hopes for 2023 are to continue growing in my professional and personal life and to continue to lead my team into this new year and give them all the tools they need to succeed. I hope to be fully staffed and prepared for whatever may come our way! I hope to continue to learn new skills and never stop growing as a person. My wish is that everyone around me is healthy, happy and plentiful!”

GV’s event coordinator Kelsey Taylor has her resolution ready for the new year.

“One of my biggest areas of weakness is self-assurance and lack of confidence in what I bring to the table and how others perceive that—both in my personal and professional life. This year, I am looking for ways to push myself outside of my comfort zone. To intentionally take on responsibilities at work and engage in situations that force me to be a bit uncomfortable. Inevitably, my hope is to grow more confident through these challenges. In a career that is very driven by teamwork and forming relationships, I hope that becoming a more confident co-worker and coordinator will empower others to do the same.”

Maggie McCort is also one of GV’s event coordinators and is happy to share her upcoming resolution.

“I hope 2023 brings growth both personally and professionally. I hope that whatever new challenges come my way, I am able to face them head-on and with excitement! I hope to build new friendships and try to push myself out of my comfort zone while trying new and exciting things! I am hopeful for the new year and look forward to seeing what it has in store!”

Marketing and Design Specialist Jacqueline Wammes has a special wish for everyone visiting GV this upcoming year.

“My 2023 wish is for an incredibly successful Spa and Cave opening. I cannot wait to see how all of the pieces fit together and I know our GV team will get to debut two new amazing experiences for our guests!”
