Gervasi Vineyard Resort & Spa (GV) is ready to celebrate summer 2023 with this year’s newly expanded Musica Summer Concert Series.

Guests have been able to enjoy live music all summer long at GV with live music at The Still House five nights a week beginning on Wednesday through Sunday.  Performances include solo and duo performances such as Dave Millard, ForKeeps, and The Scenic Route. The Piazza has live music Tuesday through Sunday featuring solo, duo, and small band performances such as Paul Guerra, Marc Lee Shannon, and The Berrys, and others that appeal to any music genre.

GV also offers the Musica Summer Concert Series which has included live performances Thursday evenings under the covered Pavilion. It has become a favorite summer tradition for so many music lovers visiting GV that the staff leadership decided to expand the offerings this summer to have a live performance almost every Thursday under the Pavilion starting in May.

“Our Summer Concert Series has become a summer tradition amongst our guests,” said Andrea Hartman, Marketing Director. “We saw the demand for the Concert Series and decided to expand and incorporate new bands that would appeal to a wide array of music genres. Our first concert with the Rat Pack was a sellout. The Bruno Mars Tribute band, 24K Magic looks like it will sell out as well.”

New to This Summer’s Music Lineup
Several favorite bands are returning this summer including the Rat Pack with the timeless music of Frank, Dean, and Sammy. Also, the highly celebrated Canton Symphony Orchestra is returning featuring a trio and a bass trio, and a French horn duo.

Some of the newly added talents include the nationally acclaimed Cleveland Ballet which performs on June 1.

Others include the 24K Magic Bruno Mars Tribute Band (known nationally as the number one Bruno Mars tribute band) and The Motowners, both bands are from San Diego, CA. The Motowners will perform hits by The Temptations, The Four Tops, Diana Ross, and more.

Local bands from the Stark County area include Overboard: The Love Boat Band and New Wave Nation. Other exciting performances include Cleveland Keys, an Eric Clapton Tribute Band, In the Heartland – Music of Michael Stanley, and many others.

Tickets are Selling Fast
A full schedule for the Musica Summer Concert Series can be found online and tickets are available now for purchase.

Andrea said that since performances are starting to sell out, guests should get their tickets well in advance.

She added that average attendance is 150+ for many of the performances.  For theatre-style concerts, the Pavilion can accommodate 316. There are a handful of concerts in the series where guests will be served a dessert trio tableside during the performance, which those events GV can accommodate up to 280 guests.

Make it an Evening Out Under the Stars
Arrive early to the performance and take a walk around the property to enjoy the beautiful landscape, the lake, the vineyards, and a night out under the stars while enjoying the music stars on stage.

Most of the scheduled performances begin at 8 p.m., which gives attendees a chance to enjoy dinner at The Bistro, The Crush House, or The Piazza. Guests can also enjoy coffee or their favorite cocktail at The Stillhouse before making their way over to The Pavilion or enjoy a nightcap after the music event is over.

Not a bad seat in the house! Many of the concerts will feature theatre-style seating with a premium seating section and general seating. The performances are magnificent, and the venue is such that guests get a close-up view of each of the performers.

“The concert series has something for everyone this year, from the Bruno Mars tribute band to the Eric Clapton tribute band. We wanted to enhance our live music experience for guests and give them another reason to visit and experience the property,” Andrea said.
