When the owners of Gervasi Vineyard purchased the property in late 2008, the property was a working tree farm named “Jabberwocky”. When transitioning the property into the vineyard and destination that it is today, the new owners took great care to save as many trees and re-purpose those that could not be saved. Over 100 trees were relocated on the property while others were used in the Bistro as window sills and more! This Pale Ale with hints of pine and bright green colored label pay homage to the most recent tree farm history of the property.
Gervasi's Jabberwocky Pale Ale features a deep gold colored medium body and a bright white head, which invites you in to smell the hints of citrus and mango that are hiding behind a smooth layer of pine. In addition, the complex hop aroma is complemented by a profound malt backbone, which truly makes this an easy drinking and refreshing pale ale, weighing in at 5.9% ABV and 35 IBU's.
