"Great for our anniversary - We've been hearing about this and you have to see it to believe. I was actually impressed with what we paid. We bought two entree's and 3 wine sampler plus an appetizer. All under $50. I thought for sure we would have paid more (and we could have with some of the other entree's). I had the lobster formaggio gamelli. My husband had the pollo funghi papper delle. "My extraordinary fifth visit - The cavatelli with the chicken and arrabiatta sauce was fantastic. There was a newer dry red wine called Nebiollo that tasted simply amazing. Full-bodied and highly complex wine that was strong in berry flavor. Our waiter was extremely friendly and efficient. Even the gentleman who sprinkled the cheese and pepper on my plate was jovial.  "We recently spent an evening at Gervasi. As we pulled into the drive lined with trees lit with white lights, we were amazed at the beautifully landscaped grounds. We briefly toured the charming Marketplace where we grabbed a French baguette for breakfast. Going into the rustic barn-like Bistro, we waited for our table up in the loft where we sipped wine flights and shared a goat cheese ravioli appetizer before dinner. Dinner for 2 was at a cozy, candlelit table overlooking the bocce court, pond and grounds. We enjoyed the short ribs and manzo Italiano accompanied by warm garlic bread and the house Italian salad.
